As the Year of Dragon, bearing an abundant harvest of achievements, fades into the past, the Year of the Snake comes bearing the seeds of hope. During these days in which we bid farewell to the old and welcome the new, the company, in order to thank all of its employees for the previous year's hard work, held a Spring Festival celebration in grand style at the Longhe International Spa Hotel on February 3 in Beijing. Chairman Steven Ma led all the company branch managers, the entire senior management, and all company staff in coming together at this one venue.

The annual conference was divided into two parts: an employee awards conference and theatrical performances. In the first part, Chairman Ma and several senior managers summarized and shared the company's achievements in 2012, while also presenting a plan and vision for the company in 2013. He pointed out that continual improvement has been the road that CET has never ceased to travel these last few years. The experience, he said, will cultivate in us a spirit of continual learning, wherein we accept and maintain a changing environment. Such an atmosphere of learning will constitute a manner of attaining continual progress by the CET Team. In 2013, he continued, we encourage employees to work for themselves and are mobilizing them to “improve on miracles” through such a revolution in thought. These “improvements” carried out bit by bit, will coalesce into a powerful competitive force for CET. Following the speeches, the year's selected outstanding employees, middle managers, and officers were commended and rewarded one at a time. Without their hard work and sacrifices, CET would not have had its splendid past, and without their quiet and selfless contributions, CET would not have its brilliant present!

Accompanied by light and joyful music, the master of ceremonies appeared on the stage in glittering style to raise the curtain on the theatrical performances. Everyone, from employee to senior manager, put his or her own talent on display and tried hard not to be outdone by the competition. The diverse performances, including emotion-charged dances, humorous skits, and moving songs, carried the evening celebration closer and closer to a climax. In addition, a set of hilarious videos meticulously shot by the senior managers had everyone laughing uproariously. Of course, in the midst of all this, there were exciting raffle draws and one-of-kind games. Everyone present enjoyed the grand show and the grand banquet, both flawlessly presented. The sounds of laughter and clapping continuously resounded throughout the conference hall.

 

  

An abundance of splendid content was presented at the annual conference in a great variety of forms. Not only did the conference put the exceptional intelligence of our CET personnel on public display, but also it exhibited CET's positive corporate culture and atmosphere. After saying good-bye to a brilliant 2012, let us, filled with longing, surging with excitement, and striding proudly forward, greet a challenge-filled 2013!
