Time flies. In the twinkling of an eye, that busy year 2013 has faded into the past, and coming to us now is 2014, filled with expectations, a new year, pregnant with new goals and hopes. On January 22, 2014, CET held a once-a-year annual meeting at Longhe International Spa Hotel in the Tongzhou District. Co-workers and leaders from the CET head office and from branch offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, and Guangzhou assembled joyfully with Chairman Steven Ma in one hall.
The atmosphere at the evening meeting site was charged with emotion, enthusiasm, and energy. First of all, Chairman Steven Ma gave a speech. Mr. Ma said: “What are CET's values? Leading the way to a colorful future. CET can make some contributions in the office automation industry so that people can truly copy and print the most authentic colors. These are CET's values. During the past 17 years, the entire team has worked very hard. Yet it is precisely because we have this enormous team, CET, that we have a shared goal and dream of doing a little something for this industry. In these 17 years, CET has grown in the midst of hardship and suffering. This is the price that we have to pay in order to develop.” With the staff applauding enthusiastically, each senior manager of the company thereupon said a few words about the development of CET in 2014.
During the past year, the company has seen continual progress in both its business and its products. This would not be possible without the hard work and sacrifices of every employee. The master of ceremonies, in a voice overflowing with emotion, read out the names of 2013's outstanding employees and outstanding teams. All the employees of the company bestowed their most sincere blessings and most enthusiastic applause on the award-winning employees.
A stage was provided at this annual meeting on which individuals and teams could display their talents. Employees from the various departments put on multifarious and spectacular performances. The sales departments and administrative departments presented a Spanish bull-fighting dance. Songs were contributed by the production department employees, a fashion show by quality and testing center employees, dance drama by research and development department employees, and so on. These were interspersed with novel and unique games, which not only occasioned much laughter among everyone, but also brought co-workers closer together. The company then distributed gifts to company employees who had served the company for at least 15, 10, or 5 years so as to reward them for their years of effort.
The silver snake bids farewell to the old year, and the gallant horse dances in the new. 2013 was a year filled with challenges; it also brought an abundant harvest. The arrival of 2014, the Year of the Horse, signals the start of the ascent to another CET summit.
